Proudly Part of Privia Health
I believe my job as a physician is to put the health of your child as my first priority. This handout is designed to help you better understand your options for vaccines.
Vaccination has undeniable benefits to society and childhood wellness. My policy exists to honor parents’ rights in regard to the care of their children.
There are many vaccinations in the current CDC schedule; each has been placed on the schedule for a different reason. The CDC schedule is intended to decrease cost and number of visits for families while vaccinating, as well as to give the children protection against vaccine preventable illnesses as efficiently as possible.
To minimize mistakes, I prefer parents commit to one of the alternative schedules I have provided. You still have a right to waive vaccines as well.
Disadvantage of delayed vaccination schedules
The alternative schedule has the option to exclude vaccines not required for school.
For your reference, I have included a list of the vaccine brands carried at my office. The vaccine brands I use have
the lowest preservative content of options available on the current market. These vaccines do not have any
thiomerisol/mercury.
