Missed Appointments

We understand that life always does not run according to plan, especially with children. We want to work with you in getting your child the care they need, but we also want to try to avoid making other families and their children wait too long. As soon as you realize that you are running late please call us. We will try our best to reschedule your appointment later in the day.

You must have a valid insurance card at each visit. Failure to bring an up to date insurance card will count as a missed appointment.

The child's legal guardian must be present at the first entire visit. Failure to have guardianship papers will count as a missed appointment.

If you know you cannot make it to your appointment, please call our office more than 24 hours ahead of time. There is no charge for a first missed appointment.  For those who make an appointment and fail to come, cancel with less than 24 hours notice before the appointment, or forget their insurance card more than once, their appointment will be considered a missed appointment. After two missed appointments, there will be a dismissal warning letter sent to your home as well as an inconvenience fee. After a third missed appointment, you will receive a dismissal letter and will have to seek care at another medical office for your child.

If you miss an appointment for a special reason like an illness, weather or death in the family please let us know so that you will not be charged.
