Dr. Copeland lives in Lakewood with her husband, Zach, her two daughters, Claire and Lily, and their Dachshund, Kevin. In her free time, she enjoys being outside, running around White Rock Lake, exploring the delicious restaurants of Dallas and spending time with her family.

Biography
Dr. Emily Copeland joined Forest Lane Pediatrics in 2018 and primarily sees patients at the Dallas office. She is proud to have graduated from Southwestern University with a BA in Religious Studies. Dr. Copeland earned her Medical Degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston and then completed her Pediatric Residency at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. Following residency, Dr. Copeland was selected to serve an additional year at Texas Children’s Hospital as Pediatric Chief Resident.
She is board-certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She feels blessed to have the opportunity to join Forest Lane Pediatrics to participate in caring for the children of Dallas. Dr. Copeland understands that your time is valuable and your child’s health is precious. She believes the role of your Pediatrician is to be a listening ear, a knowledgeable resource and an advocate for your child’s health.
