New Baby Instruction Manual

Congratulations on the arrival of your new baby! While this should be a joyful time, it can also be intimidating to care for a baby. You may be filled with first-time worries and wonders about newborn care as babies do in fact have health issues that are different from older children or adults. Thankfully, many of these issues are quite innocent, and you will gain confidence quickly in your new role as a parent. The pediatricians and staff of Forest Lane Pediatrics are excited to guide you in this journey!

While there is no way we can provide you with an answer to every possible question or situation you might encounter with your baby, we can provide you with amazing resources that will provide a solid foundation of knowledge for you as you embark on the journey of being a parent. Please be aware that any information shared on our webpage or sites we link to is intended as general information and not individual medical advice. For individual, specific advice regarding the care of your baby please call or message us on the portal and we will be happy to assist you!

Please know that the information provided below is not the only information we will provide you regarding the care of your child. At each Well Visit we will give you a printed packet of information that will walk you through what to expect between that Well Visit and the next. Consider the information below the introduction and reference material to your New Baby Instruction Manual. We will provide the remaining chapters to your manual at each well visit.
