Biography
Dr. Clarke was born and raised in New York City. His family is originally from Barbados, West Indies. He graduated from Princeton University cum laude in 1994, where he majored in History while completing his pre-med requirements. In 1999, he graduated from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri with an M.D. and an M.A. in Biomedical Sciences. He completed his pediatric residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 2002.
Dr. Clarke has been board certified as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics since 2002. From 2002 through 2013, he practiced in the Houston area, first in Katy at Texas Children's Pediatrics, then in Memorial at Blue Fish Pediatrics. In January 2014, he joined Forest Lane Pediatrics, and in 2017 Dr. Clarke was named as a Mom Approved Doctor by DFW Child Magazine.
He lives in Lake Highlands with his wife, Elizabeth, a Princeton classmate and Dallas native, and his children, Marshall and Maribel. His pediatric interests include infant nutrition, preventive health, and sports medicine. He especially enjoys working with first-time parents and adoptive parents. In his free time, Dr. Clarke enjoys cooking, exercising, and traveling with his family. He is also an avid sports fan and still follows his beloved Mets, Jets, and Knicks.
