Biography
Dr. Isha Mannering is a board-certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also an active member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, Texas Medical Association, and Dallas County Medical Society. Dr. Mannering was recognized as a Mom-Approved Doctor by DFW Child Magazine in 2016, 2017, and 2019. In 2018, she was honored as one of D Magazine’s Best Doctors in Dallas. She has also been listed as a Mom-Approved Doctor in Collin Child Magazine and a Super Doctor in Texas Monthly.
Dr. Mannering completed her undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University, where she graduated cum laude with degrees in Neuroscience and English. She then received her medical degree from Chicago Medical School prior to completing her pediatric internship and residency at Children’s Medical Center/UT Southwestern in Dallas.
Since joining Forest Lane Pediatrics in 2013, Dr. Mannering has been privileged to establish lasting relationships with her patients and their families. She truly believes that being a pediatrician is one of the most fulfilling careers imaginable. She considers it an honor to advocate for all children, and she strives to foster a partnership with each family to ensure that every child attains his or her full potential. She has special interests in preventative medicine and in working with first-time parents.
Dr. Mannering resides in Plano with her husband Mark and their two sons. She enjoys traveling, reading, exercising, and spending time with her family.
