Personal Interests
Jen enjoys spending time with her family, traveling (especially hiking and camping in the National Parks), coaching soccer, martial arts, and serving at church, the kids’ schools and other community events.
Biography
Jen grew up in Southern Maryland. After graduating from high school, she earned a degree in chemical engineering with a minor in biomedical engineering. After doing additional training and working as an EMT, Jen moved back to Calvert County to attend the George Washington University PA Program.
Jen has been a practicing primary care PA in Southern Maryland since 2008 and enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients – including some families spanning 3 generations! She says the most rewarding part of her job is “empowering patients to be actively engaged in their healthcare, creating healthier, happier, more fulfilling lives.” Jen also enjoys various teaching opportunities at the GW PA Program and has mentored many students during clinical rotations from 6 different PA programs in 5 states.
