Sookdeo family medicine is a primary care clinic located in Winter Garden, Florida that was started by Dr. Trishanna Sookdeo. The mission statement, "Providing the care you need with the compassion you deserve" ensures that all are welcomed and treated as individuals.

At Sookdeo Family Medicine care is provided to all ages, from infants to the elderly. The physician and staff provide acute and chronic medical care and focus on a person’s health and wellness through screening and preventive care.

Sookdeo family medicine offers a range of health care services, including but not limited to annual adult and child wellness visits, women’s and men’s health services including pap smears, STD screening and preventive labs, as well as immunizations.

Acute sick visits include skin and respiratory diseases, injuries, headaches, chest pain and many more. Dr. Sookdeo also treats a variety of chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, and arthritis, plus more. The clinic offers EKG readings, testing for urine infections, strep throat, pregnancy tests, as well as skin procedures and joint injections.

Dr. Sookdeo is passionate about helping patients to achieve their optimal physical, mental, and social health. Her training in obesity medicine and medical weight loss allows her to work with patients to assess their metabolic health, perform in-clinic body analysis testing, and use labs as well as a patient’s lifestyle (diet, sleep, exercise, stress levels) is to help people live healthier lifestyles and reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. Under her guidance patients lose excess weight and reduce the need for medications while decreasing the progression of chronic disease and extending their longevity.
