As we enter the New Year, I find myself reflecting on how far this practice has come since we first opened our doors in 2019. Every day, I’m grateful to be part of a team of compassionate medical providers and staff who are dedicated to caring for one another and our community. When I envisioned this practice years ago, my goal was to create a space that prioritizes both exceptional patient care and staff work-life balance. I wanted to Inspire patients to lead their healthiest lives and provide my colleagues with an environment that supports their personal and professional growth.
As healthcare providers, our commitment is to deliver the best possible care by helping people make informed decisions about their health. This includes utilizing all the resources at our disposal—whether through medication, nutrition, movement, or mind-body approaches. I’m proud to see how our practice embodies this Integrative mindset, helping individuals navigate today’s complex healthcare system with the support and guidance they deserve.
Our mission goes beyond just focusing on your health; it’s also about balancing patient care with the administrative demands of running a healthcare practice. One of our biggest challenges is working with insurance companies. While insurance makes healthcare more affordable, navigating each company’s rules, codes, and paperwork can be a maze. This requires significant time spent on paperwork, phone calls, and ensuring treatments are correctly coded for insurance. However, our top priority remains ensuring you receive the care you need.
We are proud to continue operating as an insurance-based Medicine practice and do our best to navigate the constraints of this model, which often involves extensive documentation. While we strive to offer adequate appointment times, we are also bound by the fee-for-service structure required by insurers. As providers, we share the frustration of time constraints—it’s challenging to fully hear your story, explore treatment options, place orders, and complete necessary documentation within the limited time we have together. We also feel the pressure when you are kept waiting, as we work hard to stay focused and provide the best care possible.
One way we work within this model is by offering a team of providers who get to know you and play an integral role in your care. Our dedicated staff also helps triage messages and schedule appointments to improve access. Our goal is to be your medical home—a place where you build meaningful relationships with a team that truly cares about you and supports you through the complexities of healthcare. We’re also excited to expand our offerings this year with new wellness and nutrition support programs.
