Prolotherapy

Prolotherapy is an injection treatment used to relieve pain. It involves the injection of small amounts of a chemical irritant (typically dextrose), to jumpstart the healing process. The goal of the irritant is to stimulate your body to respond with its natural growth factors. Prolotherapy is sometimes injected into painful tendons, joints, and ligaments.
