Biography

Dr. Dillard is a board-certified foot & ankle surgeon at Metro Orthopedics & Sports Therapy in Potomac, MD.

Dr. Dillard was raised in a military family and has traveled to all corners of the United States – from Hawaii to Virginia. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree at University of Maryland, College Park where he played for the men’s basketball team. He then earned his Doctorate from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. He went on to complete his three year residency at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus, a level 1 trauma center in Northern Virginia. Dr. Dillard was trained by orthopedic trauma surgeons and plastic surgeons responsible for treating professional athletes on the Washington Nationals and Washington Commanders.

Dr. Dillard has a special interest in sports medicine, trauma, flatfoot reconstruction, and minimally invasive bunion surgery.  Dr. Dillard currently serves as Podiatry Section Chair in the Department of Surgery at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital. Whether it is conservative care or surgical intervention, Dr. Dillard strives to deliver personalized, compassionate patient care.
