Occupation

PHYSICIAN

After growing up in Michigan, Dr. Pamela Trout started her journey at the University of Miami, majoring in Microbiology & Immunology. She then went on to study at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and earned her Doctor of Medicine degree. It was during medical school that she realized Pediatrics would be her path, and she moved to Orlando to complete her Pediatric Residency at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Women and Children. She stayed an extra year to serve as Chief Resident and Junior Faculty at APH and also earned her Board Certification in General Pediatrics.

In addition to private practice, Dr Trout spends time teaching pediatric residents as well as medical students from programs in the area. She has also taken on leadership positions in the community including Central Florida Pediatric Society and Orange County Medical Society. Dr. Trout has experienced working in a large private practice as well as a primary care office managed by a local hospital. In 2015, she set out on the journey to open her own practice: “Doc PAM” Pediatrics in Winter Park, Florida. The goal was to slow down the schedule and provide quality compassionate care.
