Office Policies

Be Pediatrics’ schedule has sick and well child check appointments available every day. Our providers do our best to see patients in a timely manner, however some visits do require extra time and care. Please arrive on time for your visit and 15 minutes early if it is your first appointment to complete registration paperwork. If you arrive more than 20 minutes past your scheduled appointment time, Be Pediatrics reserves the right to reschedule your appointment. If you are unable to make it to your visit, please give us at least 24 hours notice.

Patient guardians/caregivers are responsible for all copays, deductibles and non-covered services determined by his/her insurance plan at the time of the visit. Patient appointments may be scheduled for a later time if copays and/or past due balances are not paid on arrival. If someone else brings your child for their visit, they will be responsible for all fees due at that time.

Be Pediatrics is happy to refill chronic medications within 24 hours of requests being made. If you feel that your child needs a new prescription for a specific medical condition, Be Pediatrics requires that your child be examined by one of our providers. Our practice does not call in antibiotics or other medications without evaluating the patient first.

Be Pediatrics recommends the CDC’s vaccine schedule for childhood immunizations.

We require all of our patients to be actively immunized and/or in the process of receiving their vaccines in a timely manner.  Our practice cares for many patients that are unable to be vaccinated due to age, immune status, and certain medical conditions.  In order to ensure the safety and health of all of patients we do not accept unimmunized children into our practice.  All of our providers are happy to discuss any concerns you have with vaccinations at any appointment.
