FAQ

Our office is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am to 5pm. We are open on Wednesday from 9am-1pm. All visits are by appointment only, so please be sure to contact our office prior to bringing your child to be seen. We maintain slots every day if your child were to become ill and need to be seen right away.

Be Pediatrics provides emergency telephone coverage 24 hours a day, 365 days a year via Nurse One, our triaging service. Our office receives documentation of every call and a provider is always available to confirm care recommendations. Please use this service for problems and questions of an acute nature that cannot wait until normal business hours. We encourage our patients to call with any questions during regular office hours.

Our providers maintain hospital privileges at Memorial Health University Medical Center and Candler Hospital and check on our hospitalized patients, including newborn babies, daily. Be Pediatrics utilizes the pediatric hospitalist service at Memorial Health. If your child becomes significantly ill requiring hospitalization, we will turn his or her care over to the inpatient pediatric specialists to coordinate your child’s medical needs and provide the continuity of care that we believe is best. Our community has great resources available at our hospitals and Be Pediatrics is proud to be able to provide our patients with superior care.
