Biography

Dr. Gibson grew up in Macon, graduating from Windsor Academy and then from LaGrange College, where he was named Football Player of the Year and elected Homecoming King for outstanding leadership! He was voted Internal Medicine Resident of the Year and won the GHHS Excellence in Teaching Award, both in 2023. A gifted pianist, Dr. Gibson was in a praise band during college, playing at many churches in Georgia. He attended the Athens Y Camp and was on staff for 12 summers, receiving several significant leadership awards.
