Occupation
PHYSICIAN
"Having been called to this great profession, the delivery of personal and compassionate care is paramount to me. I love what I do and enjoy getting to know my patients and identifying with them, figuring out what barriers they have regarding their health and trying to figure out ways to alleviate them. I enjoy taking care of several generations of the same families. "It is always rewarding to know that the little that I do in my patients' lives do go a long way."

Biography
Dr. Latifat Agbeja is originally from Nigeria. She came to the United States as a teenager in 1994. She completed her undergraduate studies at Georgia State University in Atlanta. Her medical school was completed at the Medical College of Georgia, after which she moved to Albany. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Having recently graduated from residency, Dr. Agbeja was apprehensive about joining an already established practiced, but she has come to realize that it is definitely one of the best decisions she has ever made. Dr. Agbeja has always been inclined to be a doctor, having spent so much time in and out of doctor's offices when she was young. Her fascination with the white coats and stethoscopes meant there was only one direction for her.
"I wasn't sure I was going to like you, but now that I have met you, I'm glad I stayed" - that statement puts a smile on Dr. Agbeja's face, each time she walks through the door. It is her own personal vote of confidence from her patients.
