About Us
An Intentionally Small Practice
Why is the practice intentionally small? So that every infant, child, and young adult receives exceptional and individualized care. With a true commitment to caring for the whole child, WIP is a different kind of pediatrics practice where families can grow and thrive throughout the early years.
Individualized Care
At WIP, we want every family and patient to feel at home, and so we care for your child as if they were our own. Every patient has their individual needs that change over time. Your child will continue to grow well into their college years – and WIP will be at your side the whole way.
International Know-How
Based in the Washington, D.C. area, it is natural that a large number of our families come from outside of the United States. Dr. Sabine and the WIP staff are well versed in helping families make the transition – from school forms and vaccines to understanding the cultural norms of raising a family in the U.S.
Comprehensive Care
WIP cares for the physical, social, and mental health of children from birth to young adulthood.
From preventive health care, to sick-child visits, to the diagnosis and treatment of acute and/or chronic diseases – we will be there with you and your child.
Beyond the Annual Exam
WE DON’T REST BETWEEN VISITS
Your child doesn’t stop growing between visits, and the services we provide don’t stop either.
The intentionally small size of WIP allows us to spend quality time with each patient so that no family should ever feel rushed. Dr. Sabine is committed to the development of the whole child and is available for appointments and consults between annual visits.
