An immigration physical is different from annual exams and other general checkups. Dr. Milani begins by checking your height, weight, and blood pressure. He listens to your heart and lungs and looks into your eyes, ears, nose, and throat but the focus of the exam is to qualify you for immigration purposes.
Health screenings for illnesses like tuberculosis, syphilis, and gonorrhea are required. He screens for infectious diseases as well as physical and mental diseases categorized as inadmissible by the United States government. If you need any vaccines, Dr. Milani will also provide the immunizations you need to be compliant with immigration requirements.
At the end of your immigration physical, Dr. Milani completes the appropriate paperwork with proper signatures and seals. The results of your physical are valid for one year.
