Biography
Veena Mysore, MD, is a double board-certified Family Physician with 20 years of diverse clinical experience. She graduated from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India and subsequently moved to the United States to complete her internship and residency in Family Medicine at University of Illinois in Chicago.
As a Family Physician, she has provided primary care services to pediatric and adult patients, including preventive care, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. In 2020, Dr. Mysore also received board certification from the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. Along with practicing Family Medicine, Dr. Mysore has a passion for helping patients achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans and lifestyle modifications.
Dr. Mysore has experience in comprehensive medical evaluations and assessments for patients seeking weight loss treatment. She has helped patients in developing and implementing plans tailored to their needs, utilizing dietary recommendations, exercise plans, behavior therapy, and medication management when appropriate.
