Biography

Dr. Patricia Radich, DO, a native Virginian, is a board-certified physician on the team of talented providers at Virginia Family Medicine. She has had extensive training and experience in the wide spectrum of family medicine while working in various hospitals and private practices in Virginia, West Virginia, Florida, Tennessee, and Maryland.

Dr. Radich is a practitioner who focuses on compassionate care and uses her skills of communication to establish excellent rapport with her patients. She is passionate about health education and advocates for the importance of preventative medical approach in her patient’s lives. Dr. Radich is a proponent of patient-centered care, where the importance of a patient’s emotional, mental, spiritual, and family perspective is emphasized. She believes the contact between patients and their providers is a collaborative process that plays a crucial role in customizing treatment plans.

Dr. Radich has participated in a variety of volunteer activities such as helping people of impoverished rural communities in the Appalachian region and working for three years as a Red Cross Volunteer in the Army Hospital in Ft. Knox, where her work was lauded with a Commanding Officer Letter of Commendation.

Dr. Radich received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the College of William and Mary. She graduated from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed Wellmont Family Medicine Residency in Virginia. Over the years, she has been involved in various educational projects on diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and other chronic conditions.
