FAQ

We are open Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 5:00pm and Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

If your child requires attention after hours, call our number (407) 613-2473 to reach our after hours on-call doctor. As always, if it is a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.

We make every effort to schedule appointments for ill children on the day that you call us as availability permits. Please call our office ahead of time so that we can minimize the time that you will spend waiting. If you have a medical emergency during office hours, we will do our best to see your child immediately or refer you to the appropriate facility.

Walk-in patients with a non-emergency condition will be accommodated into the existing schedule as best as possible, or they may be asked to return later in the day when the schedule allows.

In the case of an emergency, please call 911. Emergencies are considered to be those conditions that are life-threatening: loss of consciousness, severe bleeding, seizure, etc. In the case of minor emergencies (lacerations, cuts, sprains), please call our office first for instructions.

Safari Pediatrics recommends that you bring in your child for regular check ups to keep them healthy. Our staff can assist you if you are unsure about when to schedule your child’s well visits.

We accept many insurance carriers. Please check with our office prior to your office visit to determine the eligibility of the visit. Should we not accept your insurance carrier, you may be responsible for the entire charge at the time of service.
