Founded in 2009 by Dr. Reza Golesorkhi, Potomac Internal Medicine has grown into a trusted healthcare provider dedicated to delivering personalized and comprehensive primary care for adults. Dr. Golesorkhi, a board-certified internist, has been practicing since 2002 and is renowned for his exceptional patient care. Under his leadership, our team of skilled providers—including Physician Assistants *Ryan Pyles* (who joined our practice in 2021)—offers expert diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of chronic and acute conditions. In 2024, we were excited to welcome *Afeeza Santamaria, FNP-C*, and *Kurt Hardy, PA-C* to our team, expanding our capabilities to better serve your healthcare needs. *Afeeza Santamaria, FNP-C*, also provides PAP smears for our female patients.

We specialize in managing chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and asthma, as well as providing care for mental health concerns, skin disorders, and other common health issues.
