Well Visits

Well-exams occur at scheduled intervals. They include time to focus on preventative care to keep your child healthy, discuss development, nutrition, sleep, and safety, and address other questions that parents may have. The scheduled intervals for well-visits are:

• Newborn Visit (2-3 days after discharge from the hospital)
• 2 weeks
• 1 month
• 2 months
• 4 months
• 6 months
• 9 months
• 12 months (1 year)
• 15 months
• 18 months
• 24 months (2 year)
• 30 months
• 3 years – once every year thereafter for an annual comprehensive physical exam
