At The Orthopedic Center we are dedicated to provide timely, state of the art treatment and rehabilitation to Brevard County residents of all ages. As orthopedic care providers, our goal is to help patients recover their mobility and independence as soon and as safely as possible.

We are proud to be able to bring a comprehensive range of services including hand and upper extremity surgery, joint replacement and reconstruction, comprehensive fracture treatment, sports injury care, ligament reconstruction, Physical therapy, electrodiagnostic studies, and general orthopedic care.

The Orthopedic Center also plays a prominent role in the Workers’ Compensation arena. We are dedicated to assist Brevard County employers and employees in their back-to-work effort.

The Orthopedic Center Facts

  • The Orthopedic Center has been serving Brevard since 2003.
  • All of our Orthopedic Surgeons are Board-Certified and have completed a Fellowship in their area of interest and specialization.
  • Our multidisciplinary team includes surgeons, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physical therapists, and X-ray technicians. All of our providers are Florida-licensed and certified by their respective Boards. In addition, they hold advanced certification and specialty training in many of the treatment techniques they utilize.
  • Because of our specialty services and our interest in treating each patient thoroughly, we see patients by appointment only. In the event of a medical emergency, we ask that you contact 911 immediately, or go to the nearest facility in your neighborhood.

Medical Records

  • Bring all records related to your present orthopedic condition

Diagnostic Studies

  • Bring all pertinent studies including X-rays, MRI's, CT scans, Bone scans, EMG's and NCV's as well as recent lab work. Also bring a copy of the official reading or interpretation of the study.

Medications

  • Bring a list of all the current medications you are taking. Include a list of all over-the-counter drugs, supplements and vitamins you are taking.
  • Bring a complete list of all know drug allergies.

Insurance and Identification are required

  • Bring your insurance card(s)
  • Bring your Driver's License
  • Co-pay/co-insurance payment is required at the time of service

Be Prepared to Discuss Your Condition

  • What precipitated the condition?
  • Is it getting worse?
  • How does it limit your normal daily routine?
  • Have you had any treatment including therapy, medications or surgery?
