Area of Interest: Medical Assistant 
Employment Type: Full Time, 40 Hours per week 
Office Hours: Mon-Fri 8:45am-5:15pm with one late-night: Mon or Tue 10:45am-8pm

The Medical Assistant will perform routine administrative and clinical tasks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Records medical history
  • Records vital signs such as their blood pressure and weight
  • Help providers with patient exams
  • Give patient Injections
  • Collect and prepare specimen collection
  • Track Specimens and call labs for problems
  • Maintain exam and procedure rooms
  • Sterilize instruments
  • Put stock away
  • Fax and scan documents
  • Perform other duties that are assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Certification/ Registered Medical Assistant (Required)
  • 1-2 years Medical Office Experience (Required)

The Medical Secretary serves as the central point of contact and communication between patients and providers. The Medical Secretary performs secretarial and administrative duties.

Responsibilities include:

  • Presents a warm, pleasant and welcoming demeanor to patients at all times
  • Register and update patient demographics
  • Schedule Appointments
  • Check patients in and collect co-payments
  • Answer incoming calls and take messages
  • Refill Prescriptions
  • Complete task assigned in designated bucket
  • Print and fax documents
  • Medical Records
  • Perform other duties that are assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma or GED (Required)
  • 1 year Medical Office Experience (Required)
