Contacting the Nurses

Triage Nurse

During office hours, a triage nurse is available to answer your call between 9 am and 4:00 pm with a lunch break from 12-1 pm. Call volume varies on a day-to-day basis and you may be prompted to leave a message. Please allow 48 hours for non-urgent phone calls to be returned. If this is an urgent matter please call us and speak to the front desk staff.  Urgent phone calls will be returned by 5 pm the same day.  Messages left after 4:00 pm will be addressed the following business day.

Please be aware that as a new patient, we cannot give medical advice or refill prescriptions until you become an established patient. For any urgent matters, please call 911 or contact your previous physician.

Non-Emergency Telephone Calls – For Non-Emergency Telephone Calls, please call 703-528-6300 (OPTION 2) or 703-437-8080 (OPTION 2) and follow the prompt to speak to an advice nurse.

During office hours, the doctors’ schedules do not allow for patient telephone calls unless there is an urgent or emergency situation. The nurse will direct your question or concern to your physician. The nurse will call you back with instructions, once the doctor has had the chance to review the message.
