Biography
In a time of impersonal medicine, Dr. Marina Arutyunyan offers a remarkably different philosophy. She cares deeply about women’s health and believes in cultivating a trusting, lasting relationship with her patients. A multi-linguist, Dr. Arutyunyan can converse fluently in English, Spanish and Russian.
Dr. Arutyunyan provides a full complement of obstetrical and gynecological services and brings years of experience in counseling women on the medical challenges they may face at all stages of their lives.
She is particularly skilled in minimally invasive surgery dealing with fibroids, ovarian cysts, and endometrial polyps and has received recognition for excellence in minimally invasive gynecology from AAGL, a professional association of laparoscopic surgeons.
Dr. Arutyunyan’s other clinical interests include medically necessary reconstructive and cosmetic vaginal procedures, non-surgical treatment of ovarian cysts and fibroids, irregular menstrual cycles, family planning, and various contraception methods.
Our offices are fully equipped and accredited for performing diagnostic and surgical procedures onsite.
Dr. Arutyunyan’s education credentials are impressive and extensive. She earned her B.A. in cell biology and neuroscience from Rutgers University. She received her degree in medicine from UMDNJ’s School of Osteopathic Medicine (now the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine) and completed her residency in OB-GYN at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. Dr. Arutyunyan also earned an M.A. in public health from UMDNJ.
