Biomechanics and Orthoses

At Elevate, special care is devoted to the evaluation and treatment for foot conditions, alignment issues, and performance due to biomechanical insufficiencies.  We understand the importance of biomechanics of mal-alignment, asymmetry, or other pathologies which may lead to poor function and pain.  Each orthoses is unique and hand-made from a 3-D scan of the patient's foot and prescription written by our certified podiatrists.  Due to the complexity of orthotic treatment, the devices are evaluated after the 'break-in' process, and the prescriptions may need changes or enhancements.  It is recommended to have your custom orthotics checked annually for correct function.

Insurance Coverage

Your insurance may cover part of your treatment of custom orthoses. Please contact your insurance carrier for verification. Please allow approximately 4 weeks for the fabrication of your device after the biomechanical evaluation and impression. We have contracted with a professional lab in addition to our lab for all prescription devices.
