Amazing advances in gynecologic surgery have recently turned a number of major operations into relatively minor ones. As experienced surgeons, our doctors utilize these new techniques whenever possible.

HYSTEROSCOPY

Using a Hysteroscope, the doctor can see and operate inside the uterus without a major incision, allowing you to return to normal activity within just a few days. Irregular bleeding, polyps, small fibroids and even tubal occlusion can often be managed this way.

DAVINCI ROBOTIC SURGERY

All three of our physicians have undergone extensive training and have been properly certified to perform robotic surgery. This unique approach minimizes time off work and markedly reduces the pain of traditional surgery.

MAJOR GYNECOLOGIC SURGERY

With years of combined experience, Dr. Bokor, Dr. Birkenholz, and Dr. Rajchel are highly qualified to perform major gynecologic surgical procedures including hysterectomy, myomectomy and vaginal surgery.

OPERATIVE LAPAROSCOPY

A laparoscope is a thin camera that is inserted into a small incision near the naval, decreasing a number of necessary major incisions. Minimally invasive surgery often reduces postoperative pain and recovery time, allowing you to return to normal activities sooner.

ENDOMETRIAL ABLATION

This modern treatment for heavy menstrual periods often allows significant improvement of symptoms with a minimal recovery period and is performed through a hysteroscope as an outpatient. This procedure has decreased the rates of necessary hysterectomies and has offered many women a better quality of life with minimal recovery time.
