Biography

Dr. Hinojosa has a sincere passion for working with people of all ages. He earned his Ph.D. in School Psychology from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX, an APA-accredited program that afforded him rigorous training at several nationally acclaimed institutions across the state, including Texas Children’s Hospital. He completed his pre-doctoral internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, wherein he gained a diverse range of training experiences with pediatric and adult populations. He returned to UTHealth to complete a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology. Through these endeavors, Dr. Hinojosa obtained specialized training in the assessment of neurocognitive impairment secondary to neurological conditions, including epilepsy, vascular disease, and Alzheimer’s disease, just to name a few. He has in-depth experience evaluating individuals with neurodevelopmental and psychiatric vulnerabilities as well, including the assessment of children and adults on the autism spectrum and individuals with questions about ADHD.

Dr. Hinojosa accepts most insurance plans, with the exception of Medicare (at this time). A referral is generally not required to be seen, depending on your insurance plan.
