For over 50 years at Bluff City Ob/Gyn, a premier OBGYN practice in Memphis, Gynecology has been at the core of our practice. Many women only visit their gynecologist once every year. This is why we specialize in taking the time necessary to understand each patient’s individual concerns and ensure your care plan reflects your unique needs. A yearly examination will include but is not limited to a breast exam, pap smear, and possible bloodwork.  If you have Medicare, check with them regarding how often they will cover a pap smear, usually every 24 months, although your doctor may still want to see you yearly for a breast and pelvic exam.
