Biography

Carey Barber is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who has dedicated her career in nursing to caring for women. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Carmel College of Nursing in 1999. She spent the next 16 years working in Labor and Delivery at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s. She obtained a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2017. 

Carey works closely with our physicians to provide collaborative, holistic care to our patients. Our patients are able to see Carey for preventative well woman care, low risk pregnancy care, and for many gynecologic concerns. Carey has an interest in patient education and preventative wellness care. 

Carey lives in Mount Vernon with her husband Brian and 3 children. When she is out of the office, she enjoys running, camping, and traveling with her family.
