COVID-19 Vaccine

We have received many requests for information on the availability of the COVID-19 vaccine. The Virginia Department of Health (VDH), in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control, is responsible for developing the vaccine roll-out plan for the vaccine and allocation of the vaccine for administration.

COVID Vaccine Update

The Virginia Department of Health is entering phase 1B of the vaccine administration program. This means that people age 65 or older or age 16 to 64 with an underlying condition are now eligible to receive the vaccine.
