Biography

Dr Leymaster was born and raised in Westerville (Westerville South class of ‘90). After graduating from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completing his residency at Case Western Reserve University/Metrohealth Medical Center in Cleveland, he returned to his hometown in 2002 to join our practice. He has two adult children and lives with his wife, Ruth, a couple's therapist in Uptown Westerville. Being a former collegiate swimmer (Kenyon College class of ‘94), Dr Leymaster maintains an active lifestyle. His personal interests include swimming (of course), running, hockey, flying, and canine agility. He and his wife can often be found enjoying the local shops and restaurants in Uptown Westerville. Professionally, he enjoys all areas of pediatrics and has a special interest in sports medicine. He is board certified, a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics (F.A.A.P.). Among numerous other community committees and appointments, he was the former chair of pediatrics at Mount Carmel/St Ann's from 2006-2012 and is a clinical assistant professor for pediatric medicine at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
