Biography

Macy was born and raised in Ellerslie, Maryland. She then moved to Garrett County in 2016 with her husband Cody Brill. She completed her RN in 2013 and started her career as a critical care nurse. Her career path includes time at University of Maryland, WVU Medicine, and most currently Garrett Regional Medical Center in surgical services. Macy graduated from Frostburg State University in 2024 with her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree. She has always had a passion for rural community care and the Appalachian mountains. Macy feels that mental health is a calling that God has placed on her life and has no doubt her life experiences were constructed by the Lord to place her on this path.

Macy has three children--Bryson, Morgan, and Atticus. She has been a member of Crossroads Church since 2018 and sings on the worship team. She and her husband are involved in the local high school coaching Varsity Cheerleading and Boys Basketball. Macy has a passion for children and adolescents, believing every child needs someone in their corner  rooting for them.
