Biography

Jessica was born and raised in Garrett County, she obtained her associate degree in Nursing from Allegany College of Maryland and began her career as a registered nurse in 2017. Over the years, she has worked at Garrett Regional Medical Center, gaining experience in various departments with a focus on the emergency department. She pursued further education, earning a Bachelor's degree in nursing and a Master's degree in Leadership and Management from Western Governors University from 2019 to 2020. She then went on to complete a post-master's program in Rural Family Practice at Eastern Kentucky University in 2024. Jessica started working at Wellspring in the fall of 2022 as the Deputy Chief Medical Officer. She values the unique, supportive environment at Wellspring and is dedicated to enhancing patient care through both administrative leadership and clinical practice. She believes it is a true privilege to continue caring for patients within her own community. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys the comfort of home, spending quality time with her husband and their dog.
