Biography

My name is Amanda Airey, and I am the Director of Patient Services at Wellspring Family Medicine. My journey with Wellspring began when I was new to the area, navigating life with several small children. Thanks to my Healthy Families Nurse, I discovered a practice where I felt truly heard and supported by the providers, enabling me to make informed decisions for my children’s health.

The exceptional Wellspring front desk, clinical staff and referral coordinator always made me feel valued, fostering a sense of belonging that resembled that of a family. I remember thinking that once my children were all school aged, I would apply for a job with this welcoming organization who really seemed to care about their patients and community. After nearly ten years as a Wellspring employee, I am dedicated to leading a receptionist team that prioritizes exceptional patient service. My goal is to ensure that every patient experiences the same level of care and attention that I did when I first walked through our doors.

I am the proud mother of five wonderful children—Jakob, Athena, Helayna, Romello, and Lennox—who keep me very busy. When I'm not at work, I enjoy supporting my sons at Southern Rams football games and cheering them on
from the bleachers at the Oakland Youth Baseball Field. In my spare time, I love traveling with my daughters who are not only my children, but also my closest friends. I love exploring and spending time outdoors with my children and cooking for my family.
