Biography

Dr. Rangineni joins Texas Health Care from Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital at Fort Worth Southwest, where he was president of the Southwest Internal Medicine P.A. and Chief of the Division of Hospitalist Medicine. Previously, Dr. Rangineni worked for Fort Worth Internal Medicine, P.A., and IPC-The Hospitalist Company. Dr. Rangineni completed his residency in internal medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital, which is affiliated with Weill Medical College of Cornell University in Bronx, NY. During his residency at St. Barnabas, a 66-bed community hospital, Dr. Rangineni was exposed to a unique combination of pathologies and clinical situations in the inpatient, acute care, ICU and ambulatory settings. The attached nursing home provided him an excellent opportunity to hone his skills in geriatrics. Dr. Rangineni received awards for Resident of the Year for excellence in the ambulatory care setting and all-around exemplary performance. Dr. Rangineni also worked as a physician's assistant in Delhi, NY, and held a one-year rotating internship where his responsibilities included admitting patients to the floor, day-to-day patient care, bedside and minor O.R. procedures, both surgical and medical. Dr. Rangineni received his medical degree from Rajah Muthiah Medical College, Annamalai University in Tamilnadu, India, and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Educational Commission of Foreign Medical Graduates.
