Biography
Dr. Milne was born and raised in Bloomfield Hills, MI. He did his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University, followed by medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Following medical school, Dr. Milne did his Orthopedic Surgery residency at the University of California, Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA. Upon completion of residency, Dr. Milne returned to Texas for his Sports Medicine & Arthroscopy Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Milne has been practicing in Fort Worth since 1993. He currently serves as the orthopedic team physician for TCU, along with Dr. Brotherton. He has also served as the team physician for the Fort Worth Fire Hockey team, the Fort Worth Cavalry Arena Football League team and Trinity Valley High School. Dr. Milne is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at TCU, teaching in the Athletic Training Program, and a Clinical Instructor at UT Southwestern Medical School where he teaches the sports medicine fellows.
Dr. Milne is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine. He has authored numerous articles and book chapters on surgery of the knee and shoulder.
