Biography

Dr. Bao Nguyen, a native of Northern Virginia, is Board Certified in Family Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Nguyen received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2001 from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at St. Joseph Medical Center Family Practice Residency in South Bend Indiana in 2004. Upon completion of his residency in 2004, Dr. Nguyen worked as a family and emergency physician in the state of Indiana before moving back to Northern Virginia.

Since moving back to Northern Virginia, Dr. Nguyen has served as the Medical Director at Minute Clinic and continued to practice Family Medicine at several area practices including PartnerMD Concierge Medicine, Generations Family Practice, Primary Care McLean - VHC, and Stone Springs Family Practice. Dr. Nguyen has a strong interest in preventive care with a focus on early detection of cancer, cardiovascular and thyroid diseases.

Dr. Nguyen is dedicated to providing compassionate, high quality primary care through building long term relationships with his patients and their families. Outside of work, Dr. Nguyen enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and daughters. He is fluent in both English and Vietnamese and is committed to taking care of your entire family.
