Biography

Dr. Atkins takes an integrated approach to medicine. In her medical practice, she enjoys the more active duties of performing surgery and delivering babies. She also thrives on the simple, and important, day-to-day patient interactions. Working with each patient, Dr. Atkins formulates a plan that may combine lifestyle changes, holistic choices and Western medicine. “I love helping empower women to care for themselves,” she says.

A graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Dr. Atkins is a member of these organizations: American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, and Tarrant County Medical Society.
