Biography

Anita Chow, MD has been a practicing surgical oncologist since 2001. Dr. Chow obtained both her undergraduate degree and her medical degree from Cornell University. It was during her General Surgery training that she developed an interest in surgical oncology. Therefore, she pursued a fellowship with research in Surgical Oncology at the University of Illinois in Chicago after completing her General Surgery Residency in New York. During that period, she came to appreciate the complexity of cancer biology and its profound effect on those patients diagnosed and living with cancer. In order to devote more effort and time to take care of her patients, Dr. Chow currently limits her practice to the treatment of malignant and benign breast diseases.

Dr. Chow is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a fellow of the Society of Surgical Oncology, and a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons. Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Chow enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time and enjoying various cuisines with her family and friends.
