Biography

Ricardo Garcia, DO is a Texas A&M Fellowship-Trained Sports Medicine Physician who provides full spectrum care for athletes of all ages and skill levels. He has been providing quality care in the BCS area for over 10 years while acting as team physician for local high schools and serving as a consultant for elite collegiate, professional, and Olympic athletes.

Whether you are looking to get back in the game, or just get back to walking, Dr. Garcia loves helping his patients heal so that they can return to their active lives. He is passionate about having an effective, non-surgical focused, patient-centered care plan for everyone he treats.

Dr. Garcia utilizes a state-of-the-art X-ray machine for bone injuries and the latest Ultrasound Technology to accurately assess, diagnose and treat soft tissue, tendon, or joint problems. He is also an expert in sport-related concussion and management. 

Within the Regenerative Medicine arena, Dr. Garcia has a special interest in utilizing these incredible treatment modalities for his patients. He strategically and responsibly uses Autologous Conditioned Plasma (ACP), Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and evidence-based Orthobiologics to achieve optimal results for non-surgical healing within a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries. 

Aside from providing compassionate care to his wonderful patients and their families, Dr. Garcia enjoys watching college/professional sports, playing basketball, eating delicious BBQ, and spending quality time with his beautiful wife and two lovely daughters.
