Dr. David Powers graduated from the Medical College of Virginia (Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine) in Charlottesville, VA in 1983 with a bachelor’s degree in engineering sciences and in 1985 with masters in engineering in biomedical engineering. He graduated from Medical College of Virginia in Richmond in 1989. He did his internship at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, VA and his residency at Chesterfield Family Practice in Chesterfield, VA. He is board-certified with American Academy of Family Physicians.
