Biography
Dr. McFarland attended the University of Virginia (UVA) in Charlottesville where she obtained both her undergraduate and medical degrees. A board-certified internal medicine physician practicing for 26 years, Dr. McFarland specializes in treating diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, and thyroid disorders. As a physician who takes prevention very seriously, she also works closely with her patients struggling with weight loss which she finds is a key factor in the medical management of chronic conditions.
