Biography

A Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Asi is board certified in pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the Good Samaritan Hospital of The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore where he also served as the Chief Resident. He completed his fellowship training in Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians.

His clinical interests include asthma, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, and sleep disorders. He sees patients with unexplained shortness of breath, non-resolving cough, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, sarcoidosis, lung cancer, occupational lung disease, autoimmune disorders, and pulmonary fibrosis among other diseases.
