Dr. Jefy Mathew is a Harvard-trained, board-certified specialist in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine, with over 25 years of clinical experience. He earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and completed advanced fellowship training in Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep & Circadian Rhythm Respiratory Neurobiology at Harvard Medical School and Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
Over the past two decades, Dr. Mathew has been passionate about establishing The Woodlands as a destination for high-quality medical care close to home. He has held numerous leadership roles, including Chief of Staff and Medical Director of the Intensive Care Units at St. Luke’s The Woodlands Hospital, and continues to serve as Trustee of the Board of Directors and Regional Chief of the Pulmonary & Critical Care Section.
Dr. Mathew offers comprehensive care in general pulmonary and sleep medicine, with specialized expertise in chronic cough, bronchiectasis, difficult-to-treat asthma, obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, and circadian rhythm disorders. He is known for his kind, collaborative approach and his belief in the getting to the root of the problem. Dr. Mathew and his PA Sarah Pellerin are accepting new patients and excited to be a part of your health care team.
