Biography

Dr. Ather Siddiqi earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. He finished additional training in the United Kingdom, earning a membership of The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCPI). He then completed his internal medicine residency with the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University in Ohio. Dr. Siddiqi went on to complete his pulmonology and critical care fellowship and served as chief clinical fellow in the Section of Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. In addition, he trained at the Memorial Hermann Sleep Disorders Center at Memorial Hermann- Texas Medical Center, which is affiliated with McGovern Medical School at UT Health in Houston.

Dr. Siddiqi is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He was recognized as one of 2009 ‘America’s Top Physicians in Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine’ by the Consumer’s Research Council of America. Dr. Siddiqi is a diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians.
