Biography

Dr. Susan Kioko is a board certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner and serves as the Director of Quality Improvement at Rockville Internal Medicine. She completed her Doctorate, Master of Public Health and global health certificate from Johns Hopkins University graduating in the top 10% of her class with honors from the Delta Omega Honorary Society and the Sigma Theta International Honor Society of Nursing. 

Her experience spans a wide range of areas including clinical nursing and medicine and public health practice. Areas of interest include health promotion, preventive medicine, hypertension, health equity and population health. 

She is a member of the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association, the National Hypertension Control Roundtable and Delta Omega Public Health Society.
