Biography

Merlyn Raymond is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner from New York City. She graduated from Villanova University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and moved to Atlanta shortly after. There she worked at Emory University Hospital on their general surgery and surgical oncology units, and at Children’s Hospital of Atlanta as a float pool nurse. While working in the inpatient setting, Merlyn realized she wanted to be more involved in her patients’ plan of care and build long-term relationships with them. She then went on to pursue her Master of Science in Nursing at Georgia State University. There she completed the Family Nurse Practitioner program and later moved to Silver Spring.
